Hello, I’m Mike Otter, and I’m delighted to host this unforgettable journey through Ireland.
I grew up in the beautiful lakeside city of Kelowna, British Columbia. My wife, Brenda, and I are proud parents of two grown children and grateful grandparents to three wonderful grandchildren. After a fulfilling career in wholesale distribution, I’ve turned my focus to two lifelong passions — travel and golf — through GTC Golf Tour Company Ltd.
Golf has been part of my life since I was twelve. I had the privilege of playing collegiate golf in Louisiana and continue to compete in regional and national senior events. Like many golfers, I still believe my best round is ahead of me.

With an extensive selection of wines and craft beers, it is an excellent spot for a delightful meal, just a stone's throw from the iconic Giant's Causeway.

After a fairly long day and checking in at the resort, we'll just stay put for dinner at the Jameson Bar, located within the historic Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links.
The Jameson Bar offers a warm and inviting atmosphere steeped in the heritage of the famous Jameson whiskey family. Set inside the original 19th-century Jameson House, the oak-paneled bar features classic fireplaces, elegant period details, and sweeping views of the golf course and Irish coastline, creating the perfect setting to relax after a day on the links.
