This afternoon, we'll experience the charm and vibrant atmosphere of one of Europe's most captivating capitals. Our shuttle will take us into the heart of Lisbon, where we'll begin at the magnificent Praça do Comércio, the city's grand riverside square overlooking the Tagus River.

From there, we'll enjoy a leisurely stroll through the elegant streets of Baixa and into the historic Chiado district. Along the way, you'll have time to browse local boutiques, admire the city's distinctive architecture, stop for a coffee or a glass of Portuguese wine, and simply soak in the energy of Lisbon at your own pace.

As the afternoon turns to evening, we'll gather at one of Lisbon's scenic rooftop terraces to enjoy a drink while taking in spectacular views across the city's red-tiled rooftops, São Jorge Castle, and the Tagus River.

We'll then make the short walk to By the Wine, where we'll enjoy an authentic Portuguese dining experience in one of Lisbon's most distinctive restaurants. Celebrated for its exceptional regional cuisine and impressive selection of Portuguese wines, it's the perfect setting to conclude our evening before returning to our hotel.

We'll have approximately one hour to explore the castle grounds, walk along the ancient stone walls, and discover the exhibits that tell the story of this strategic frontier fortress. Don't forget your camera—the views across the salt marshes and into Spain are among the finest in the Eastern Algarve.

After our visit, we'll continue the medieval theme with dinner at one of the region's unique medieval-inspired taverns, where rustic surroundings, traditional Portuguese cuisine, and warm hospitality combine to create a memorable and authentic dining experience.
